La Soleil (ラ・ソレイユ Ra soreiyu?), full name Patisserie La Soleil (later nicknamed Neko Paradise) is a patisserie owned by Kashou Minaduki which he bought soon before Nekopara Vol. 1.

La Soleil is a patisserie shop sporting a western-style flair and modern outlook on the outside. Small and local, but very studious. Its main entrance is a double doorway between large panels of windows. The interior house multiple chairs and tables on the shop floor for eat-in purposes. In the back room is a large kitchen for baking, containing modern equipment. There is an apartment at the patisserie's upper level where Kashou, Chocola and Vanilla reside.

The shop has an active advertising campaign spearheaded by Shigure, and after establishing itself as a business to the area, the shop branches out into running a delivery service.

Later, Shigure and the Minaduki catgirls all become employees of the cake shop with only token protest from Kashou. Despite the shenanigans that come from having a six-catgirl family all in one space, Kashou appreciates having the support. Moreover, the attractive catgirls acting as service staff garner the store a reputation as "the Catgirl Patisserie" by Nekopara Vol. 2

La Soleil inherits its name from Kashou's former mentor's shop in France by the same name. The incorrect usage of "La" was an intentional decision made by Kashou's mentor, as she decided to tack on "La" which is reserved for female nouns, instead of the masculine "Le".

Miscellaneous[]

Patisserie La Soleil is not correct French. Soleil is a masculine noun in French, so a French correct name would be "Patisserie Le Soleil" or "Patisserie Au Soleil"
