Personality

History

As the 30th head of the Minaduki family, Suhama carried on the family legacy of Japanese confectionaries, for which they've long since been renowned for. He always thought it natural for his son Kashou to do much the same, and trained the boy in general culinary arts leading to Japanese wagashi. Suhama was strict in his training, causing Kashou to forgo any social life, hobbies, or aspirations beyond the family business. Kashou felt stifled by this, and ran off to study in France while Suhama and Awayuki were out on a business trip.

Etymology

  • Suhama's surname Minaduki means "June" (水無月).
    • Minazuki ("water month") is a poetic way to refer to the sixth month of the calendar (originally of the lunisolar calendar, but now June in the Gregorian calendar).
